Online Teaching Toolkit - Karen Kliegman
This workshop proved to be successful for those of us that are in the teaching profession right now. The websites provided were well-organized and Karen gave us plenty of time to explore the information provided to us. It was great to explore the RICE website where students could answer questions to give rice to third-world countries. It was also beneficial to use a lot of the websites for review material for testing. The students have found these sites to be very helpful int heir studies.
Learning 2.0 - Jim Dunne
This workshop was very helpful in giving an overview to many of the web 2.0 tools that are available to us!! In particular I found that the tools provided excellent suggestions that we could use throughout the program, but also in our classroom.
Working with Audio - Michael Byrne
In this workshop we were introduced to the basics of audacity and also exposed to many sites that allow us to use media and resources. It was very useful as I was able to create something that I used in class the next day. I found the program and the instructor to be direct and organized.
